Hello, the name is Lindani or Linda, a Malawian in my mid 20s, currently unemployed and trying to figure how to make money in a Madando economy. I decided to start this blog as a way of flexing my writing skills, lol kidding, well somehow kidding. I have wanted to start a blog since I was about 16. I didn’t even know what blogging was about, I had just read in some newspaper that Soulja boy had a blog and I wanted to do the same, in short, 2009 was a crazy year. I have come a long way since then, 10 years to be precise, and over the years I wanted to create a blog and even created one as a class assignment, created another if not two as real blogs but did not know how to effectively run or market them. With this new blog, I am hoping to change that, I want to write and share with the world my musings, whatever they may be, be it art, music, movies, tv, science, health, education, etc. I am just gonna put it out there that on the art front, my favorite painting is that of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, crazy I know!! But I will one day write about it, if it makes you feel better, Starry Night by Van Gogh is a favorite too and that concludes my knowledge of art, lol. I just want this to be a space where we can talk about anything, share ideas and help each other grow. I am a very optimistic person or at least I try to be, so you might see a lot of positivity on here which is a good thing, and we all could use some positivity in our daily lives. Just a heads up, my writing skills are not exactly Chimamanda level hopefully they might be someday, so bear with me if the grammar or syntax or whatever it is that writing professionals call good writing does not appear on here. I am a busy girl with thousands of ideas. Enough about what this blog is about.
